Acceptance
By creating an account or using Capy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be 18 or older to create a parent account.
The service
Capy provides empathy-learning sessions for children aged 8–12. Parents create accounts, add child profiles, and purchase session tokens. Each token gives access to one situation (session). Tokens do not expire.
Tokens and payments
- Tokens are purchased in packs. Purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
- Tokens do not expire and are not transferable between accounts.
- Prices are listed in USD and may change. Existing purchased tokens are not affected by price changes.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store payment card information.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any purpose other than personal, non-commercial educational use.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate access to the service.
- Share your account credentials with people outside your immediate family.
- Use the service in a way that violates any applicable law.
Content
All session scenarios, images, and audio are created by us. You may not reproduce or redistribute them. Your child's responses remain yours — we use them only to generate your progress reports.
Disclaimer
Capy is an educational tool, not a clinical or therapeutic service. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional mental health support. If you have concerns about your child's emotional wellbeing, consult a qualified professional.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Capy is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting hello@capy.vu. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Changes
We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
